PULP Chili crisp
Tipping our hat to Lao Gan Ma, but with our own twist.
We love the Chinese condiment but thought “hey, what if we tried to make our own?”
Inspired and challenged by our friends at GA Organics, who wanted a local version to consume on a daily basis. And, after a few customers asked us if we have ever thought about it or if we would even want too, we decided to give it a try.
After a few test batches we got extremely addicted to our creation and thought it was good enough to share. We have been selling our every week at farmers market so we decided to make more and share it with you.
*Warning, this stuff is highly addictive*
We make our version with Fried Garlic, Fried Shallots, Arbol Chiles, Sichuan Peppercorns, Gochugaru(Korean Chili Flake.) We also infuse an awesome, raw, cold pressed, Non-GMO sunflower oil from Oliver Farm with Star Anise and Cinnamon.
